Happy Birthday, Maddie! Today ended up being a day off, although I hadn’t necessarily planned it that way. Maddie slept in (until 6am), so we did, too. Then, we were off and running doing birthday stuff and final preparations to get the site launched and the fundraiser rolling. I ended up “running” around all day, but I can’t log those as official training miles. We had a fun party for Maddie with a great puppet show (thanks, Lauren!) and a successful opening day for the fundraiser. I also met with the Bowdoin Women’s Track Team and they are designing t-shirts to sell at the State of Maine meet on Feb. 1st for the fundraiser. Maddie had a great time at the meeting and got to run around the track with coach. At the end of our meeting, he presented her with a Bowdoin Track hat and medal for the fastest lap by a 4-year-old this year. She proudly showed her prizes off to Brad when we got home. Looking forward to an exciting, rewarding 3 months!
